"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
Hi! My name is Dmitry Markish-Kovalov — the kind of person who knew since 8th grade what he wanted from life: to become a journalist. And I did just that — no doubts, no detours. Ten years in the profession, thousands of publications, tons of news, a bit of stress, and a whole lot of love for storytelling.
But, as often happens in good plots, near the end of chapter one, I started drifting — toward marketing. Toward SMM. Toward visual meaning. In short, I took a creative turn. With journalism’s blessing, of course.
Along this new path, I’ve worked everywhere: politics, healthcare, education — all of it was less about prestige and more about gaining the experience that eventually led me to the thing that truly sparked something in me. The HAUTEART project. Contemporary art. Its meaning. Its promotion. And yes — I know what I’m doing, I live and breathe this.
2024 was a turning point. I moved to Cyprus, looking for new opportunities. And I found them… in France (plot twist, I know). That’s where I randomly met art dealer Masha Karmanova — and like any good series, the pieces fell into place. The hook? My resume said I knew Ancient Egyptian.Truth be told — not yet. But the fascination is real, and soon enough, I’ll be adding a diploma in that field to my collection. Because why not?
