Hi! My name is Dmitry Markish-Kovalov — the kind of person who knew since 8th grade what he wanted from life: to become a journalist. And I did just that — no doubts, no detours. Ten years in the profession, thousands of publications, tons of news, a bit of stress, and a whole lot of love for storytelling.

Along this new path, I’ve worked everywhere: politics, healthcare, education — all of it was less about prestige and more about gaining the experience that eventually led me to the thing that truly sparked something in me. The HAUTEART project. Contemporary art. Its meaning. Its promotion. And yes — I know what I’m doing, I live and breathe this.

What I do know is how to cut down emojis in posts so well that even Tutankhamun would give it a like. And honestly, that’s pretty much the same thing — just in a modern format.

Working from the heart of Europe, I can now more precisely and thoughtfully share HAUTEART’s uniqueness with the world. I’m passionate about this project. I live it. I tell the story of the gallery as an ongoing journey into contemporary art. Every post is a piece of our story — our voice, our face.

I’ve got a million ideas buzzing in my head. Sometimes I seriously wonder why humans even sleep, or why there are only 24 hours in a day.In my rare free time, I write a sci-fi novel. But on weekdays — I write the sci-fi reality of HAUTEART.

So if you ever see a bold post, a clever reel, or an intellectual riddle packed with hidden meaning — chances are, I’m behind it.

Thanks for being part of this journey. The best is yet to come.
